For Dr. Im, it all started after losing his second dental assistant within a couple of months…
After talking with other dentists in the area, he found they were having similar experiences and realized a troubling trend:
Dental assistants graduating from nearby schools were not prepared for their roles.
Dr. Im knew something had to change. So, he took action.
His vision?
A dental school that offers more than basic knowledge – a school that truly prepares you for the realities of the dental field.
Earn a comfortable living for you and your family. While also enjoying dental/health benefits, 401k matching, and generous vacation days that come with the job!
Dental assisting is one of the FASTEST-GROWING occupations in the United States. Just in the Poulsbo area, there is a HUGE DEMAND for skilled dental assistants. You will not have trouble finding a job, but rather have the problem of deciding which dental office to work for.
Dental offices are usually open 8-5 during the weekdays. This allows dental assistants to work predictable hours, have the weekends free, and find a great work/life balance compared to most jobs!
As a dental assistant, you will be providing a vital service to your community. You will be helping people to maintain their oral health, which in turn will lead to a better overall quality of life!
Our accelerated dental assisting program is only 10 weeks long, meaning that you will be trained and ready to start your new career fast!

Yes, our program is accredited by the Workforce Training and education Coordinating Board.
We are now accepting applications for the Fall Term.
The program is 10 weeks long, with an 11th day available for additional practice or instruction.
Classes are held once a week on Sunday from 9:00 am – 6 pm. This schedule allows our students to continue working their current jobs while they complete the program. Additionally, students should plan to attend a 4-hour orientation session prior to the first day of class.
There are a maximum of 12 students in each class. This allows for plenty of individualized attention and ensures that everyone in the class gets the most out of the program.
At capacity, we have one teacher to every four students.
The curriculum is blended. About 25 hours of instruction will be available online, and 80 hours will be conducted in person.
The program usually costs $9,995. However, we are currently offering a $4,000 tuition scholarship to our fall cohort, bringing the cost down to $5,995. This tuition covers the 10-week program and includes dental supplies, textbook, scrubs and shirt, radiology certification, and the state application fee.
We offer various payment plans to meet your needs:
Pay in Full: Pay the full amount prior to starting classes. This option includes all necessary supplies and incurs no interest.
Custom Down Payment Plan: Make a down payment higher than $600, with the monthly payments dependent on the amount of your down payment. This option includes an 11% interest rate.
Minimum Down Payment Plan: Make a down payment of $500-$600, followed by 24 monthly payments of $250. This option includes an 11% interest rate.
Students should generally be older than 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have access to a computer or smartphone. A criminal conviction will need to be explained to the Washington Board of Dentistry, and all necessary documents submitted for evaluation.
Upon completion, students will receive a certificate that allows them to apply to the Washington Board of Dentistry to become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Additionally, you will receive Dental Assistant National Board (DANB) radiology certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
We offer personalized coaching, resume templates, mock interviews, and salary negotiation techniques to secure your dream job. We have also partnered with dental offices in the area to help you gain your shadowing hours. These turn out to be valuable connections to have when searching for a job after graduation.
You will learn the latest techniques and best practices in dental assisting, including chairside assisting, dental radiology, infection control, and patient communication.
If you have the will to succeed, we can show you the way! We ask our students to bring the drive and passion to learn, and we will handle the rest.
